Facial Glow
So yesterday night, a friend and found ourselves on the Middlebury football field with our flash lights setting up our annual social house search and find event. My friend, intentionally trying to be funny, took his flash light and illuminated his face, by reinterpreting a scene from the Blair Witch Project. Besides laughing at his stupidity, I took his actions as a great lighting concept. How cool would it be to only light faces during a piece.
To recreate this concept, it would be cool to have the dancers control the light by having their own flashlights or by utilizing some sort of light on the grid to illuminate a dancer's face from above. Maybe a par light could make this concept a reality.
