Lighting Moment, Week 2-Cat, 360

My lighting moment for this week was came from a natural light source again. I was walking to Le Chateau and the clouds covered the sun so that the light was really only illuminating Le Chat. It almost looked like a picture in which everything around the building had been dimmed a tad (or perhaps the brightness had increased on the building).

One way to recreate this would be to use a light from electrics 3 or 4 that is slightly off center (lights B or D?) at a high power, say 85-90%. This light would be clear/white light. Then have the rest of the stage in a dark blue lighting at half power. This is all just guessing. I would really have to play on the board to really figure out what to use. The "spot light" might actually have to be one of the ones in the corners of the grid toward electrics 1, with a higher aim (I don't know if that's considered a higher tilt or not) and a smaller pool of light. I also wonder if the color and texture of a costume would have a lot to do with how well the light illuminated the target dancer(s).
